Well, HELLO there! Goodness, life for me is a little different since I last blogged ... ! :)

My little miss Stella Love made her debut on May 9th & is the light of our lives ... we can't seem to get enough!!! These past 21 days have been amazing, challenging, different, exciting, rewarding ... all kinds of emotions but overall simply AWESOME. Praising GOD for gifting us w/ such a precious soul. I am in awe of this baby girl & love her so very much. Noah is constantly checking on baby sister ... he LOVES her & that makes this mama heart SO happy. I'm busting at the seems w/ the amount of love I have for these two. Mark & I are blessed ... most definitely.

Well, because I have been immersed in this new family life of ours, I've had little time to do anything else [especially on the computer]. I must say ... it's been a nice break! However, I'm slowly resurfacing & thrilled to get to share w/ you our little life happenings. I have a lot of photos [of course], so I've been filtering through which to post. I'm behind, so get ready to see a lot of this baby girl's sweet face!

This week I'll be posting images from the hospital. First off, a HUGE thank you to our family + friends who have been so supportive & kind. Meals, visits, phone calls ... all just what we needed right when we needed it. Beyond grateful to be surrounded by such wonderful/loving people. THANK YOU.

Ok, stay tuned for images from the hospital this week. Until then, here's a look at my sweet girls bassinet which the hospital staff loved & couldn't stop talking about ... which made ME happy because I knew little Stella was getting lots of attention! ;)

It speaks to the heart and soul......and babies!

It's safe to say that Vanessa and I love music, as we were both in the music industry while living in Nashville.

As my little one is about to make his debut- I've been looking at whats out there in regards to kids music. My dear friend Elsie Larson gave me this super fun cd and it's super adorable! Written and Recorded by moms and dads.....loving it!

You can purchase the music here. // KELLI

HELLO's Kelli here.
Well, as you know Vanessa just welcomed a sweet baby girl into her family last week.....and, Im due with baby #1 [a BOY] this coming July!

I knew I wanted to document this season in life, but wasn't quite sure how I should capture it- in a fun and fresh way. There so many maternity series photos out there....and I wanted to make this my own. I took information from the app that would send me weekly updates and thought it would be fun to photograph my growing belly with the coordinating fruit / veggie for the week. It's been awesome to have this visual.....because ounces and centimeters just don't speak my ARTISTIC language!

This series began at week 16, while I was in Springfield, MO collaborating with a dear friend and rockstar blogger, miss Elsie Larson. I love that she encouraged me in this...and took the very first photo for me. So special!

This week marked WEEK 32 and I blogged about it over on my lifestyle/photography blog! Feel free to check it out....and join in the journey! Almost there....!!

Here's a peek into this weeks series!

Both momma and baby are doing well!

For now, lets welcome STELLA LOVE!

We have been a fan of Allison over at Monkeys Always Look ever since we stumbled upon her work on Etsy. Vanessa and I used her adorable Garden Markers for a styled photoshoot we did for the Creature Comforts Gifted Guide.

She has expanded her line to include these adorable personalized copper rings.....such a unique way to display the love you have for your family! These would also make a great MOTHERS DAY gift!

I am so thrilled that a baby girl will be making her way into the lives of my friends, Mark and Vanessa. They have an adorable boy named Noah, but I think Vanessa was ready for a pop of pink in the household. Baby girl will make her debut this upcoming week! Eeeee! Can't wait!

Vanessa didn't do an official maternity session this time around, but I did get an opportunity to take A PHOTO A DAY of her while she was in Montana in February. These are a few of my favs.....

On the day our baby girl arrives, Mark & I wanted to be sure Noah was pretty familiar w/ what would happen on that day & also to know how important the big brother role really is! So, we signed him up for a sibling class & he LOVED it. He learned how to change a diaper, swaddle the baby & even took his baby on a tour of the hospital. Noah doesn't miss a beat, so he was the first to ask questions & the first in line behind the nurse on the tour. He left the class w/ a cool "big brother" bracelet & a certificate that says he graduated the class. That's the kind of stuff I hide in a box, so we can open it in 20 years & smile. It was a special day ... for all of us!

Not much time is left to finish up my baby girls room ... in fact, I have 8 days. Yes, EIGHT.

So, as I'm racing to beat the clock, here's a little peek into what I've been up too. One of Noah's favorite songs is "Oh Happy Day" by Tim Hughes, so therefore, we incorporated a bit of what we sing together each day in her room. Fingers crossed she loves it. ;)

I will share *how* I painted this little design on the wall oh-so-soon ... !
