My Everyday Featuring ... Jen Coleman

[#1] Share with us a snippet of your story.
Born and raised in Dallas, Texas! I crossed paths with my 'future husband' Caleb in 2004! Hes a small town boy with a heart of gold. We were fast friends and kept in touch for a few years while he lived in California. Fast forward to 2007, he was back in Texas and we were inseparable. Next came marriage and then our sweet baby boy arrived in March of 2010 to rock our world! Cove Hart has made our lives indescribable. He is a magical little boy and our love for him is never ending.

[#2] What is your favorite part of the day with your little one[s]?
I love our mornings with Cove. He's just so sweet and hilarious when he wakes up. He has the cutest bed head and loves to tell us about his dreams or sing us a song. If Caleb is at the fire station then we usually call him first thing and then cuddle some more or wrestle! :)

[#4] The chores are done, there's nothing expected of you & you've got 45 minutes of personal free time ... how would you spend it?
Oh wow! I would probably go thrifting or hit up target and take my time down every isle digging for a deal! Its nice to get those little pockets of time to yourself. I feel like with a very active toddler its always go go go..naps are rare these days, so getting a little free time alone is special.

[#5] What are your staple go-to pieces from your closet this month?
skinny jeans // chuck taylors or little booties// beanie// anything with leopard or stripes// anything black

[#6] If you could give us a peek inside your home - what image would you share and why? 

kitchen/chalkboard wall.

cove is always flying down the hallway on a skateboard or a scooter, drawing on the wall or playing with toys. I love the natural light in our home the most.

[#7] Share a photo you wouldn't typically post on Instagram but depicts real life happenings.

lets be honest! i tend to over share! ha! everyone has seen my house a mess or daily stuff we go through good and bad. here's a pic my husband shared that I wouldn't have!
